Wrapping Up a Journey of Innovation and Impact

Begun in November 2022, the Erasmus+ SustainCast project is now coming to an end. It has been a challenging and fulfilling two years for all consortium partners: we are happy to announce that we have achieved all our goals!

The project was launched with the aim of actively contributing in a participatory way to the spread of sustainable practices in everyday life by raising awareness through the medium of podcasts.

The SustainCast podcast series are available now also on Spreaker

The SustainCast podcast series has launched, offering a diverse collection of stories focused on sustainable living and eco-friendly practices. Produced collaboratively across multiple European countries, these podcasts dive into topics essential to sustainability, such as food and water conservation, responsible clothing consumption, sustainable travel, plastic waste reduction, and energy management. Each episode is crafted with relatable, real-life examples that encourage listeners to adopt more environmentally conscious habits in their daily lives.

In our roles as individuals, there is plenty we can do in our everyday lives to protect the environment and fight climate change. This is what our project – Sustaincast – does, by offering information about environmental protection, practices, and knowledge that we can apply daily, and that we can share with others and inspire them to do the same!

Italian podcast series launched

On 14 June, the Italian podcast series of the Sustaincast project was launched!

The six-episode series will focus on the project's sustainability themes: plastic waste, food and water, fast fashion and sustainable clothing, energy consumption, sustainable transport and travel.

Podcasting Unleashed: A Huge Adventure!

All over the different SustainCast countries, partners are engaged with creating the national podcast episodes. Background work is at its peak, organizational issues, discussions, contacting the podcast guests, recordings… are all on plate these days within SustainCast.

Grey4Green: Senior Volunteers for Nature Conservation

The Erasmus+ project, “Grey4Green: Senior Volunteers for Nature Conservation”  encourages seniors to do some volunteer work on nature conservation projects. Aside from fighting isolation, the seniors get to interact with fellow seniors on a regular basis.
