When talking about EV cars in online discussion or with friends, someone will always bring up the point of the hidden emission and heavy use of resources for battery production and electricity production. This is often used as an argument against EV cars, and that ICE cars are much better than their reputation regarding emissions. And it is a fair point to make. Batteries are using up a lot of resources, and that in turn creates a lot of emissions, but it’s also important to look at the whole picture. |

This means that it’s not enough to look at the emissions from production and usage of an ICE car, you also have to take into account the extraction of the oil and petrol refinement and the costs of shipping.
