Can you change your mode of transport?

So, with all this in mind, what changes could you imagine that would help you make your commute more sustainable?
Would you consider spending a bit more time on your commute and use public transport instead of the car? Or would you sacrifice a bit of your convenience by joining a carpool? Or would you even consider using your bike or an e-bike to get to work? What would you be able to change in your own commute, and would it save you time or money if you did?
Try to view your daily transportation choices in a different light. If sustainability was a high priority, what changes could you make, and would you?

When talking about EV cars in online discussion or with friends, someone will always bring up the point of the hidden emission and heavy use of resources for battery production and electricity production. This is often used as an argument against EV cars, and that ICE cars are much better than their reputation regarding emissions. And it is a fair point to make. Batteries are using up a lot of resources, and that in turn creates a lot of emissions, but it’s also important to look at the whole picture.

This video hammers the point home, that if you are looking at the whole chain of production of EV cars and electricity, then you should also do the same thing for ICE cars. This means that it’s not enough to look at the emissions from production and usage of an ICE car, you also have to take into account the extraction of the oil and petrol refinement and the costs of shipping. The case for EVs suddenly seems a lot stronger if you look at the big picture.
