Using your legs is the best way of transportation. It is free and healthy. A challenge for you could be to walk more! Especially, when you need to do your everyday tasks. On your way to the grocery store, walk instead of taking the car. Leaving the car at home will always have a positive impact on your carbon footprint. Do this for a minimum of two weeks to feel a difference and make an effort to change your old habits.
Protip: Remember to bring your backpack for the groceries. With your backpack, carrying heavy bags on your walk home will not be a problem. 
Additional gains: a walk is healthy for both body and mind. It is a great way to clear your thoughts and lower stress levels in your body.
